WHO WE ARE Our Values: Inspiring Curiosity At The New School, we inspire students to be curious and creative while promoting a love of learning.
We promote children's social growth, emotional growth and intellectual development.
We believe that a school should encourage curiosity and inquiry in an environment enriched with opportunities in the arts and sciences.
We believe that a school's instructional programs should ensure students reach their full potential for academic achievement.
We believe that every student from our little ones in early childhood education to our teenagers in the upper school should be inspired to be curious. FROM DR. GROESBECK Dear New School Community, Curiosity is a hallmark of our students at The New School! I observe the wonder of it every day. Whether it's in the classroom thin-slicing a fresh piece of liver in biology class in the Upper School or on a field trip to see a production at The Walton Arts Center with our drama teachers. And I am lucky enough to participate along the way. From the oldest students to the youngest, the students spend every day on an endless search for new and exciting learning with their co-discoverers - their teachers.

TNS has given me so many reasons to love teaching here. Our low student-to-faculty ratio gives me the opportunity to really get to know my students. Flexibility in curriculum allows me to take my students beyond basic core classes while they also participate in many enrichment classes and extracurricular activities each week. I'm also a parent of a TNS student-- I am a huge fan of the pre-school staff that cares for my daughter just a few halls down from me." IMPORTANT REMINDERS Lost and Found Please come pick up your lost items in the administrative building by this Friday, June 14. Any items left in the lost and found will be donated.
