Hello, New School Community!
As we pass the halfway point of summer break, I'm grateful that our administrative team has been working hard to prepare for the year ahead. This team has been working closely together for a year now, and they were able to utilize the early weeks in June to wrap up the 2018-19 school year and begin the planning for 2019-20. Over the past few weeks, they have balanced much-needed vacation time with valuable focused preparation time.
This week we have come together as a full team for our administrative team retreat, where we can dig into the details of how to capitalize on the strengths of The New School to build upon our strong foundation on our journey of continuous improvement. Grounded by our mission, we are focused on student experience, lifelong learning and community.
As we move from refining handbooks to outlining an events calendar to planning faculty professional development to aligning curriculum and more, we are guided by our mission and our commitment to providing the highest quality EC-12 education possible.
We look forward to welcoming you all back in August.
