May 7, 2019 | Vol. 5 No. 35 FROM FLETCHER PREWITT HEAD OF SCHOOL FOR A DAY Dear New School Community, Wrapping up my first (and last) day as Head of School gives me time to reflect on the wonderful memories, accomplishments, and lessons learned within this position.
My career began with the welcoming of students in the carpool line, gathering the day's agenda with Ms. Noella, hearing requests from faculty and staff, researching suggestions to curriculum, and observing classrooms from ECE to the high school. This journey was brought to a close by celebrating with my friends and colleagues in the fifth-grade class.
I also learned that Dr. Sue is always on time and knows what's going on around the school. I learned from her that a good head of school manages a good relationship with their staff and students.
