FROM DR. GROESBECK

Dear New School Community,

Time! Time for enjoying a book. Time for family...

This is the last official week of winter in Fayetteville and when we return from our break, Spring will officially greet us. Spring is a time for re-creation and recreation.

We ended our last school week together with incredible community events, the most complicated and spectacular of which was Seussical. Led by Ms. Jonny and Ms. Sam and countless adults but performed by talented 2nd-5th graders, supported by the students who built the set, helped with costuming, did the make-up and sound booth and so much more, the musical was a stunning success. It was an all-school collaboration such that I've not witnessed. Bravo to all!

We had a phenomenal Pi Day all over campus on 3/14 and the beginning of a new tradition, I am sure; with the Pre-Spring Break Team Dodgeball Tournament on 3/15. Great community events.

Wherever you are - away or nicely at home for these relaxing days - know that The New School community is strong and Spring holds lots of learning ahead!

Best,

Dr. Susan R. Groesbeck

Head of School, Interim
